Stuff burgers on the BBQ

Well today my daughter wanted me to make some stuff burgers. So we decided to stuff them with Mozilla and Swiss cheese. These are quite easy to make using the Stufz Burger press. Well let’s get grilling shall we.

Hamburger Patties Ingredients:

1 onion finely chopped
1 lbs lean ground beef
1 lbs ground pork
1 tbsp Worchester sauce
2 tbsp HP sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tbps Montreal steak spices
1 tsp garlic powder
1 egg
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp paprika

Stuffing Ingredients:

Mozilla cheese
Swiss cheese

Direction:

1. Mix all the ingredients well in a large bowl;

2. Pre-heat BBQ to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and for this cook I will be using Grillgrates;

Grillgrates coming up to temp

3. Shape the burger with the stuff press;

4. Stuff the hamburger pocket with Swiss cheese and Mozilla cheese;

5. Seal the burger pocket with the Stuff press;

6.     Place burger patties in fridge for 1 hour;

6. Cook on the BBQ at 425 Fahrenheit to internal temp of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Also flip the burger half way through the cook.

 Ready to serve!

How to use the Stufz Hamburger Press:

1. Pull Stufz™ handle straight up until it clicks and twist slightly clockwise. Handle should be resting in the holder. Pull side latch slightly until top releases and opens fully.

2. Place ball of meat into StufZ™. Use a Heaping 1/3 cup (approx. 5oz.) for max burger, or less to fit your appetite.

3. Close the lid and latch to lock. Make sure handle is still twisted clockwise. Push handle down firmly to flatten ball of meat.

4. Pull handle up and turn counter-clockwise until it stops. Press handle down multiple times to form pocket/cavity

5. Pull handle up slowly, unlatch lid and lift completely to see your pocket/cavity. If pocket is not deep enough add a little more meat and repeat Step 4.

6. Fill cavity with your favorite toppings. (FORMED MEAT SHOULD NOT BE ABOVE RIM ON BASE) IMPORTANT: Raw ingredients should be fully cooked before stuffing.

7. Return the handle to the position as in Figure 1. Add ground meat to the inside of the top and spread out evenly to fill entire shape.

8. Close and latch the top, press handle down firmly while rocking it to seal burger top to burger bottom.

9. Open StufZ™ and press disc up from the bottom, ejecting your stuffed burger. Remove disc from meat. Always remove your stuffed burger from the StufZ™ before cooking.
