Pineapple glaze chicken breast on pineapple peel planks.
Well today I decided to make some Pineapple peel plank chicken with a pineapple glaze on the old BBQ. I got the ideal of using Pineapple peel planks from Smokomotive Barbecue on the Facebook group Cooks R us. These are pretty easy to make and are quite tasty. The Pineapple peel planks will help keep the moisture in the chicken breast and give them a little pineapple flavor. I love the fact that you can use the Pineapple peel as planks instead of trowing them out! More bang for your buck lol! Well let’s get grilling!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 3 boneless chicken Breast
- ¼ tsp of garlic powder
- ¼ tsp of onion powder
- Dizzy Pig Raging River Rub
- 3 Pineapple peel plank that will fit your chicken Breast
- VH Pineapple cooking sauce
Direction:
Preheat
your BBQ for direct grilling at a temperature of 375 Fahrenheit;
You now
want to melt your butter and mix in the garlic and onion powder;
Inject each
chicken breast with the butter mixture;
Now it’s
time to apply some Dizzy Pig Rub to the chicken breast;
You now
want to place your chicken breast on the pineapple peel plank and cook them
till the chicken breast internal temp reaches 140 Degrees Fahrenheit then it’s
time to start basting them with the VH Pineapple cooking sauce.

You want to
continue cooking and basting them until the internal temp reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
